01Our mission
Husk that was burned now replaces peat and plastic.
Coconut husk is roughly a third of the fruit, and for generations it was burned or left to rot. Washed, pressed and tested, it becomes a growing medium that stands in for peat and a fibre that stands in for plastic.

straight from the field
100% natural fibre
Coconut husk only, nothing blended in.
Washed, not stripped
Salts rinsed out with water; buffering is the one treatment, and we say so.
Tested batches
Moisture, EC and impurities checked; the report travels with the shipment.
Less waste
Husk that used to be burned or left to rot, put to work.
02Behind the scenes
From husk to hydraulic press, at Karimangalam.
Photographs from our own facility floor — sourcing, drying and pressing, in the order the material actually moves through them.

01 / 04Where it startsWhole coconuts arrive husk-on, already harvested for their flesh and water elsewhere. The husk is what we are here for.
02 / 04Sun, not fuelWashed material is spread across open yards and dried in the sun rather than a fuel-fired kiln. Slower, and nothing is burned to do it.
03 / 04Fibre, curledDefibred coir, mechanically curled while it still holds moisture, before it is baled, roped or spun into yarn.
04 / 04Pressed and curedPith is compressed into blocks under hydraulic pressure, then set aside to cure before it is packed for despatch.

07FAQs
Questions buyers ask us first.
Minimum orders, samples, grades and shipping, answered. If yours is not here, ask us directly — we reply within one business day.
It depends on the product. A container carries about 16–18 tons of coir fibre bales or twisted coir rope, and a lorry about 19–20 tons of either, or up to 9 tons of coir yarn. Tell us the volume you need and we will confirm the minimum for that product.
Yes. We send samples for any grade we produce so you can test EC, pH and water-holding behaviour against your own crop. Samples usually ship within a week; courier cost is typically borne by the buyer and credited against a first order.
Send us the grade, the volume and the destination port through the quote form and we will come back with a written quotation on your preferred incoterm. We reply within one business day.
Conductivity. High-EC Cocopeat measures 3.0–5.0 mS/cm; Low-EC Cocopeat is thoroughly washed to 0.5 mS/cm or below, which suits crops that are sensitive to salt. Otherwise the two are alike: pH 5.5–6.5, expansion 1:5 to 1:7, natural brown, and nil foreign matter.
Yes. Every product is made from 100% natural coconut husk fibre, and both High-EC Cocopeat and Low-EC Cocopeat list foreign matter as nil.
Chennai and Tuticorin, both within reach of our Dharmapuri facility. We quote FOB from either, or CIF/CFR to your named destination port.
